Welcome to the Balloon Festival. This year our festival is filled with great delights - wonderful performances, free events, and lots of fun - as well as workshops, master classes and informative demonstrations.
It is a special year for us, one in which we have focused on the Balloon Festival mission not only to bring nationally and internationally renowned artists into our midst, but to give back to the community through free events and community partnerships designed to showcase local artists.
The Balloon Festival is set to enrapture festival lovers once again. Our venue will leave you fascinated, captivated and enthralled. With performances ranging from classic to contemporary, traditional to avant-garde, each act will inspire you to greater heights.

Balloon Festival
During this festival the skies over the beautiful Telluride Valley fill with balloons during the day, while at night there's a spectacular Balloon Glow over the town's Main Street.
The event draws balloonists from around the Southwest for a fun-filled weekend of inflation, flotation and illumination. At the opening night's bash, balloon enthusiasts can meet with pilots and learn what it takes to fly one of these amazing craft.
At sunrise volunteers and spectators gather in the Town Park as the balloons are inflated and soar off above the breathtaking Telluride Valley.
